BOTANICAL CUTS FROM THE TABLE OF MY WORKSHOP

My creative processes have many shades.

Inspiration does not find me if I am sitting on a desk, elbow on the table and hand in hair. The white sheet makes me anxious, the pencil smells good but I don't know how to use it.

I have to stay in my laboratory, with music that changes according to mood, loud volume, I don't like the background, the music has to cover the speeches of the mind a bit.

I look around, open jars or books. If nothing happens I start using the resin and I know something will come out.

This is why I always leave a part of the production to improvisation, to unique pieces, to experiments.

On the table fragments of petals, leaves, seeds, egg shells, onion peels.

Teasing to the hand wet in resin, I collect and compose until the brass frame is filled. I seal each space with gold leaf fragments.
