I’m not a botany expert, but when I discovered the mediterranean hartwort I couldn’t help but smile. They’re a wild plant that grows among olive trees and blooms in spring, exploding into small, light white hearts. At the end of the season, when the heat becomes unbearable, all that’s left are the seeds—mysterious and endearing.

Their geometry reminded me of an eye, so I played with triangles, circles, and a deep blue that evokes summer at its most intense. Next to it, I added gold as a warm accent.

The result is a collection with a Mediterranean feel, a touch of Egypt, and a bold character. Like certain gazes that never look away, yet know how to smile. Audacious—just like the people I imagine wearing it.
